Clinton Casad died in Chile while on an engineering project. He was an electrical engineer and worked there for Braden Copper Company. At the time of his death he was a power substation operator.
He became ill with polio-encefal-meningites.
His body was returned to CA for burial in the family plot in Merced.

His wife was Elvie Reinholdine Anderson (Aug. 12, 1913-Oct. 6, 1959) who died in Fresno, CA. She was a daughter of David Anderson and Hanna L. Bekius, natives of Sweden. After Clinton's death she married Kenneth L. Cummings.
