Davis, Justice, Witness to the marriage were C. J. McNullen and Pearl B. Wilcox. To this union were three sons, Russell D. Biddle Jr. Dewey G., George Dewight, and a daughter Ruth Romaine Biddle. Ruth was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Vernon and Sarah Mann after the death of her mother.


Russell married second wife Pauline (Peel) Mcnees, the daughter of Percy and Mae (Carton) Peel on Aug 26, 1939 in Cuyahoga, Ohio.
