Grover Cleveland Frisby, 83, Route 5, Springdale, died February 25 in the Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born April 24, 1892, at Wharton Creek, he was the son of William and Nancy Dotson Frisby, and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Etta Yingst Frisby of the home; one son, Floyd Frisby, Ontario, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Flossie Donaghey, Springdale, and Mrs. Ida Lyman, Huntsville; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 28, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil Garrison and the Rev. Ted Slaven officiating. Burial was in Wharton Creek Cemetery under the direction of Brashears.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Neal, Maurice Steele, Roy Bowman, Cecil Case, Mack Cain and Virgil Inman.
