She was born on Aug. 4, 1920, in Johnsburg, to the late Joseph and Mathilda Stephany Wagner.
Teckla attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Grade School in Johnsburg.
On Oct. 12, 1937, she married Elmer Olig at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg. He preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1972.
Teckla worked for Petrie's Restaurant in Fond du Lac and the Postilion, also in Fond du Lac. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mount Calvary.
Survivors include her four sons, Roger Olig of Fond du Lac, James Olig of Green Bay, William (Ruth) Olig of Fond du Lac and Jerry (Rose) Olig of Mount Calvary; her four daughters, Betty Petrie and her special friend, Ron, of St. Peter, Gladys (Larry) Mueller of Mount Calvary, Mary Ann (James) Goebel of Fond du Lac and Patty (Jerry) Connery of Sun Prairie; her special friend of 30 plus years, Henry "Bud" Freed of Calvary, Wis., and his family; 33 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Wagner of Oshkosh and Norman (Alice) Wagner of Oshkosh; and four sisters-in-law, Marcella Wagner of Mount Calvary, Virginia Eiring of New Holstein, Helen Olig of New Holstein and Marge Kasper of Chilton.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Elmer; a son, Francis; two grandchildren, Shannon and Ashley Olig; a son-in-law, Leander Petrie; a daughter-in-law, Pat Olig; four sisters; five brothers; two sisters-in-law; and seven brothers-in-law.
•Services: A prayer service will be held at the Sippel Funeral Home in St. Cloud on Sunday evening at 6:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Jan. 25, 2010, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 308 County Road W in Mount Calvary. The Rev. Steven Kropp OFM Cap. will officiate. Burial will be at the parish cemetery in the spring.
