Funeral services for Mrs. Lavonia Higgins, 94, of 721 N. Glasgow, a Dallas resident for 45 years, will be held at 2 pm Monday in the East Chapel of Hillcrest Mausoleum. Entombment will follow.

Mrs. Higgins,a native of Rome, Georgia, died here Sunday.
A lifetime Baptist, she came to Texas in a covered wagon from Georgia in 1886.

During World War I, Mrs. Higgins did extensive work in Denton County for the American Red Cross. She lived in Lewisville before moving to Dallas.

Survivors: Three daughters, Mrs. Frances Decker and Mrs. Pauline Cadwallader of Dallas, amd Mrs. Esther Work of Wichita Falls; two sons, J. Reagan Higgins, Dallas and S.M. Higgins of Weatherford; a sister, Mrs Clara Wilson of Decatur, and three grandchildren.
