Funeral Services
For Bessie Bell
Here Thursday
Funeral services for Bessie B. Bell, music teacher who died suddenly Monday noon at her home two miles east of Wiota, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Roland funeral home, the Rev. F. G. Barnes officiating. Interment will be in the Wiota cemetery.
The daughter pf Frank and Edith Bell, she was born on a farm east of Wiota and attended Iowa State college and Drake university and also studied in London. She had lived on the farm all of her life, but taught music in Wiota, Anita, Cedar Falls and later gave private lessons. Miss Bell attended the Wiota Methodist church and sang in choirs at the Atlantic Congregational and Baptist churches.
Surviving are two brothers, W. R. (Bob) and E. M. (Ted) Bell of Wiota; three nieces, Mrs. Russell McCaskey of Atlantic, Mrs. Russell Thornton and Mrs. William Leach of Griswold and two nephews, Phillip Most of Atlantic and Robert Most of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret and Connie Bell, Dorothy Most and Gwen McAfee.

Miss Bessie Bell of near Wiota passed away Monday noon, having suffered a heart attack. The deceased is an aunt of Mrs. Russell Thornton and Mrs. Wm. Leach of Griswold and Mrs. Russell McCaskey of Atlantic.
