VIOLET SCHUBERT, RETIRED FROM BRISTOL PRESS
Violet (Theroux) Schubert, of Terryville, widow of Erhart F. Schubert, died Friday, March 6 at Cook Willow Convalescent Home, Plymouth.

She was born Feb. 24, 1912 in Stoneham, MA. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Eva (Brousseau) Theroux and had been a resident of Terryville for the past 54 years. Prior to her retirement, she worked for The Bristol Press. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville and member of the Women's Guild of the church. She also was a member of the Democratic Town Committee and Terryville/Plymouth Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her son, Peter E. Schubert of Medway, MA; her grandchildren, Sarah Kavanaugh of Shoreham, NY, Julie Schubert of Boston, MA, Mark Schubert of Medway, MA; and her great granddaughter, Jocelyn Kavanaugh.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, March 10 from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville to the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Terryville.

Memorial donations may be made to the Plymouth Community Food Pantry, 20 Dewey Avenue, Terryville, CT 06786.
