Eva B. (Theroux) Campion of Needham died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, in Merrimack, N.H.

Born in Stoneham, Mrs. Campion had been a resident of Needham for more than 50 years.

During World War II, she served with the U.S. Marines until 1946. She was an active member of the Needham VFW Auxiliary.

Mrs. Campion had worked as a food service handler for the Needham Public Schools for many years.

Wife of the late Paul E. Campion, who died in 1979, she leaves her children, David J. Campion of Merrimack and Paul D. Campion of Holbrook; her sisters, Florence Long of Milford, Conn., and Violet Schubert of Terryville, Conn.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Her funeral was held Monday, Sept. 12, from the Eaton Funeral Home of Needham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church in Needham.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Needham.
