Mandel Keith Hanks, age 77, of Houston, died Tuesday, July 9 1991, at Trace Regional Hospital in Houston. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 14 at Pineview Baptist Mission. Burial was in Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston with the Rev. Al Gaspard officiating.
A native of Illinois, he was the son of the late Sybie Hanks and Minnie Mae Mullins. Mr. Hanks was a retired mechanic and a member of the Christian Church.
Mrs. Hanks is survived by his wife, Ollie Fuller of Houston; three daughters, Mary Roach of Morton, Ruby Fuller of Houston and Brenda Staten of Houston; six sons, Dean Fuller of Eupora, Paul Fuller of Pearl, Ford Fuller of Morton, Robert Fuller of Houston, Bobby Fuller of Houston and Billy Fuller of Houston; one sister, Geraldine Ferry of Aberdeen; one brother, Boyce Lamar Hanks of Jonesville, LA; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Cooper Watkins, Billy Doss, Tommy Hawkins, Charles Regan, Barry Martin and Roy Fuller.
Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. of Houston was in charge of arrangements.
