"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." II Timothy 4:7. A loving mother, Patricia Pace Bowman, passed away on Tuesday, Sept 5,2006, at Opelousas General Hospital at age 74. She was formerly of Baton Rouge and a resident of Plaucheville. She worked along with her parents, owners of Pace's Drug Store in Baton Rouge. Visitation at Bayou Jack Church of Christ in Bayou Jack was held on Thursday, Sept 7,from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a religious service at 7 p.m., conducted by the Rev.Stan Broussard. Visiting resumed at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd.,on Friday, Sept 8, from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 3:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev.Ray Johnson and the Rev.Jerry Judge. Interment will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her three sons, Ernest L.Bowman of Conover, N.C.,Steve W.Bowman of Baton Rouge and Allen E.Bowman of Denham Springs; former husband, William L.Bowman; numerous cousins; special friends, Leston and Neva Cormier and the Cormier family of Plaucheville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Louise Jones Pace. Pallbearers will be Leston Cormier, Paul Cormier, Matthew Cormier, Phillip Cormier, Michael Cormier, Bradley Miller and Donald L.Breland. She was a member of Bayou Jack Church of Christ and a former member of First Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
