Rosaline Genevieve Von Phul who recently died in St. Louis, was born in Lexington, KY, June 22, 1797 and enjoyed the distinction of having to lived under the Spanish, French and American Goverments, and during this administration of every president of the United States. She had 15 cildren, eight of whom survive, the eldest, Mrs. Thomas N. Taylor, of St. Louis, being 65 years of age. Her descendents are about one hundred in number.

The photo of the grave of Rosalie Von Phul on this memorial is most likely a daughter of Rosalie Genevieve Saugrain Von Phul and Henry Von Phul. According to the Missouri Death Records of 1862-1864, page 143, Rosalie Von Phul, age about 2 years, died June 13, 1863, of cholera infantum. Although her parents are not listed it is quite likely she is the daughter of Henry and Rosalie Von Phul. Thank you!
