Kenneth W. Fry, 65, of New Florence, died Sept. 6, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 21, 1941, in East Wheatfield Township, a son of the late Daniel and Myrtle Shoultz Fry.
A retired member of Operating Engineers Local No. 66, Pittsburgh, he enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of more than 30 years, Rosemary Pizarchik Fry; daughter Lisa Hoffman and husband Matthew, Vienna, Va.; granddaughter Sydney Elizabeth Hoffman; sisters Ruth Misner, Johnstown, Myrt Novak, Ebensburg, Gerri Craig, Ft. Myers, Fla.; brother Clarence, Seward; cousin Eileen Wright, Crystal Springs; sister-in-law Betty Fry, Armagh; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He also was preceded in death by brothers Ernest and Carl; sister Edna Lonas; and cousin Viola Mangus.
His family expressed a special thank you to those who took such good care of him, including Diana and Richard McCachren, Cindy Rager and their families.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Father John Wilt officiating.
Interment will be in Armagh Cemetery.
