[Obituary Transcript - The Spirit - Esteemed Resident of Oliveburg died Here, WILLIAM NATHAN WACHOB Dies Following Stroke of Paralysis at Age of 58]

William Nathan Wachob, of Oliveburg, died in Punxsutawney yesterday about 1 o'clock following a stroke of paralysis at the age of 58 years. He had been ill about two weeks. The deceased was born near Oliveburg close to the home in which he had spent his entire lifetime. He was a son of James and Mary Wacob. His father died some years ago, but his mother is still living. He was one of the prominent farmers of the vicinity, a man of firm conviciton, honest and trustworthy and his death is a severe shock for his many friends. He is survived by his widow, two sons, two daughters, five brothers, seven sisters and five grandchildren. The sons and daughters are: Joseph Wachob, of Morgantown, W. Va, and Clifford, at home; Mrs. Ward Boucher, of Anita, and Mrs. T. C. Baird, of this place. The brothers and sisters are: Jacob and Gurn Wachob, of Covode; Harry, of Locust; Boyd, of Sprankle Mills; Thomas, of York State; Mrs. William Wulfort, of Marchand; Mrs. Thomas Hetrick, of Coolspring; Mrs. William Stiver, of Coalport; Ms. Lyman Mauk, of Sprankle Millls; Mrs. Henry Hadden, of Hubbard, O.; Mrs. Minnie Jordan, of Punxsutawney, and Mrs. Floyd Rogers, of Sheffied, Pa. Funeral services will probably be held Friday afternoon and the body laid to rest in Hopewell cemetery.
