Clifford Wachob, 79
Clfford Wachob, 79, of Punxsutawney RD5, died Wednesday, January 7, 1981, at Brookville Hospital. Born in Olivesburg on December 18, 1901, he was a son of Nathan and Martha E. (Siverling) Wachob. Mr. Wachob was married to the former Florence Reitz on May 3, 1922.
He lived all of his life in this area and was a member of the Oliveburg Presbyterian Church. Mr. Wachob was retired from the Farm Bureau, now known as Agway.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters: Mrs. Samuel (Jane) Kennedy, Marchand; Joseph Franklin Wachob, Leetsdale, Pa; Allen J. Wachob, Rochester, Pa; and Mrs. Thomas (Darlene) Fusco, Punx`y RD 6. Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Wachob was preceded in death by his wife, who died on October 16, 1977. He was the last of his family. Friends will be received in the Deeley Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. from the funeral home, with Rev. David Stoop officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, Frostburg.
