Death of Herman O. Isham

Assistant City Engineer Passed Away at 6 o'clock Last Night.

Herman O. Isham, the son of Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Isham of 842 North First street, died at the home of his parents last night about 6 o'clock, after a lingering illness. The cause of the young man's death was kidney trouble, coupled with heart complications. He had been sick for several weeks and almost a week ago the attending physicians gave him up. Mr. Isham was aged 25 years and 27 days. He was raised in Arkansas City and was always among the most industrious young men in the city. In the past two years he had been employed as an assistant to the city engineer. He leaves a widow, but no children. Mr. Isham's wife was a Winfield young lady and they had been married a little more than a year.

The funeral services are to be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the parent's home. Rev. L.M. Riley will conduct the services and interment will take place in Riverview cemetery.
