Gladys Hutchcraft, 86, passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2010. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Church of Christ in Arlington. Interment: noon Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Arlington Funeral Home.

Maintaining her loving bonds with her children, grandchildren and extended family was Gladys' life's work. Home fire maker, world traveler and hard-working professional, Gladys guided her family and friends with care, love and example. Her life's goal was to be in Heaven after death and to see Jesus and her loved ones there.

Gladys was born Nov. 25, 1923, near Burnt Prairie, Ill., the daughter of Andrew Samuel and Maude Morlan Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, George R. Woodruff.

Survivors: Husband of 54 years, Charles Hutchcraft; daughters, Rebecca Rollefson and husband, William, and Charlotte Hartzell and husband, Doug; sons, Phillip S. Woodruff, D. Thomas Woodruff and wife, Diane, Elmer Hutchcraft and wife, June; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Bell; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
