Dies In Newport News
Newport News - Mrs. Helen von Lehn Buxton, wife of Dr. Joseph T. Buxton, head of Elizabeth Buxton Hospital, died Tuesday following a five weeks' illness. Funeral services were held at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon with interment in Peninsula Memorial Park.
Besides her husband Mrs. Buxton leaves three sons: John W., of Norristown, Pa.; Joseph T., of New York city, and Dr. Russell Bruxton, of Philadelphia; two daughters: Miss Elizabeth Buxton, of Roanoke, and Miss Helen Buxton, of Newport News; two brothers: Harry von Lehn, of Elizabeth, and Reinhold von Lehn, of Fanwood, N.J., and a sister, Mrs. Walter C. Cole, of Elizabeth.
Mrs. Buxton was prominent in social and civic circles of Newport News.
