W.F. French married Mrs. Elisa Davis Williams in April 1910. The couple moved to Texas in 1912 settling in the Loving Community.

Survived by his wife; one daughter - Mrs. J.W. Thomas; two sons - Dennis French, Herbert French; two step-sons - Pete Williams, Ernest Williams; 10 grandchildren; his step-mother - Mrs. Bertha Counts, six sisters - Mrs. W.R. Shepard, Mrs. C.E. Burdick, Mrs. Cynthia Winkle, Mrs. John Redway, Mrs. O.D. Self, Mrs. Jess Sparks; one brother - Ed French.
