Mrs. Shepard Funeral Services Held Sunday--


Funeral services were held for Mrs. Rosa Eveline Shepard, 92, Sunday, July 4, in Morrison's Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. Hubert Foust, pastor First Baptist Church, officiated and burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.


Mrs. Shepard died in her home at 801 Austin road Friday, July 2. She was born in Illinois March 26, 1879, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. French. She married William Robert Shepard, who died in 1966, in Sunset, Arkansas, January 3, 1895. They moved to Graham in 1906 from Weatherford. Mrs. Shepard was a member of the Church of Christ.


Survivors include five sons, Joe, Jess and Lee of Graham, Earl of Jermyn and W.B. of Hillsboro, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Walter Sanders of Claude, Texas; her step-mother, Mrs. Bertha Counts of Mineral Wells; three step-sisters, Mrs. O.D. Self of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Lena Hill and Mrs. Jesse Sparks both of Mineral Wells; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
