Ila Mozelle Breeden, 84, of Amarillo died Friday, March 26, 2010.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mambrino Baptist Church in Granbury. Burial will be in Nubbin Ridge Cemetery by Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury.

Ila was born Jan. 28, 1926, in Acton to Jake and Eula Hayworth. She attended Howard Payne College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She married Glynn Breeden on Dec. 17, 1949, in Houston.

Both Ila and Glynn felt a calling to the mission field and served as missionaries in Barranquilla, Colombia. After leaving the mission field, they moved to Amarillo.

Ila also loved genealogy and was active in the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Wilson Breeden.

Survivors include five children, Karan Breeden of Abilene, David and Cristine Breeden of Missouri City, Harold and Debra Breeden and Terry Breeden, all of Amarillo, and Robert Breeden of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
