Mrs. Lenore Gravatt Straub, 48, of 417 Elizabeth St., New Kensington, died yesterday at 1 p.m. in her home, after a short illness. Mrs. Straub was born Oct. 3, 1915, in Butler, daughter of the late William Bert and Florence Bricker Gravatt. A resident of New Kensington since early childhood, she was a graduate of New Kensington High School, class of 1934, and the Monmouth Memorial Hospital School of nursing, Long Branch, N.J. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Kensington. Surviving are her husband, Harry J. Straub; a son, Thomas, at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Dorothy) Lasher of Lower Burrell, and Mrs. Frederick (Ruth) Schupp of McLean, Va. Friends will be received at the Ross G. Walker Funeral Home, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday from the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
