Miss Eleanor L Marshall and Mr. Frank Barwick Wed Today

The marriage of Miss Eleanor Littlejohn Marshall and Mr. Frank Barwick was quietly solemnized this morning at eight o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Marshall on Eleventh Ave.
The impressive ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Marvin Heflin, pastor of the First Methodist Church and was witnessed only by members of the two families and a few relatives.
The wedding of this popular young couple was the culmination of a romance of several years and centered the interest of a wide circle of friends.
Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Barwick left by automobile for a trip through the Carolina's and Virginia before going to Youngstown, OH where they will make their future home.
Mrs. Barwick is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Marshall and is a decendent of prominent Georgians, both on maternal and paternal sides. She was born and reared here and is one of Cordele's must attractive and lovable girls. She is splendidly endowed mentally and possesses rare personal charm. After graduating from the Cordele High School, she attended Georgia State College for Women and for the past two years has been a member of the faculty of the Cordele Grammar School. It is a source of much regret to her many friends that her marriage will take her elsewhere to reside.
Mr. Barwick is the youngest son of Elder and Mrs. RH Barwick, of Cordele, and is descended from distinguished ancestry.
Following his graduation from the Cordele High School, he entered Georgia State School of Technology, where he made an unusually fine record and after receiving his record and after receiving his diploma was a member of the faculty for a year. He now holds a responsible position with the Truscon Steel Company of Youngstown, OH in the structural engineering department. He is a young man of sterling qualities and both he and his bride have a host of friends who will wish for them all happiness in the married life.
