Funeral services of Joseph Warren Drew occurred Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the Presbyterian Church. The service was largely attended, there being many of the old friends and neighbors over the township present. Rev. J. D. Swalestuen, pastor of the Norwegian Lutheran Church conducted the services and delivered a very impressive sermon in which he paid well merited tribute to the virtues and Christian graces which adorned the life and character of the deceased. Joseph Warren Drew was born February 16th, 1835 at Dover, New Hampshire; died February 2nd at 7:35 p.m. at his home one mile north of the village.
