She is survived by one sister, Bobbie Scroggs Spano, of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. "Bill" Fremin; her parents, Tellie H. Scroggs and Ada Deen Scroggs; two sisters, Dorothy Scroggs Butler Davis and Lahoma Scroggs Moody.
Visitation will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 135 Rio Grande, Bogalusa, on Wednesday, Jan. 6 from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Robert Belknap officiating. Entombment will follow at Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum in Ponemah Cemetery. Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
