Children Benjaman and Nathaniel moved to Ontario, Canada about 1800. Children Thomas and Amos moved to Cherry Valley, Otsego, New York about 1802 and took their parents with them. Hannah moved to Seneca County, Ohio. Deborah stayed in the Columbia county area, later moved to Nine Partners, Dutchess, New York.
Thomas died in Middlefield, and is buried in an old cemetery on Route 166 in Middlefield across from an old cheese factory. Deborah Welles went to live with daughter Deborah Allen in Nine Partners, Dutchess, New York, where she passed away.

Thomas is said to have married Deborah Welles in Stonington on 27 Apr 1737, but in fact the Stonington record reads: "Brown, Thomas, m. Deborah Holdredge, b. of Stonington, Apr 27, 1737, by Rev. Ebenezer Rosseter." This marriage is confirmed by the standard source for Stonington families.
