Nina Furr Humphrey, age 69, of Hollis died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Hollis with her husband Lawrence Humphrey. She was born in Hollis, Arkansas on December 22, 1936 to William Hollis and Sadie New Year Gross Furr. She was a mother and homemaker and a member of Grace Apostolic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy, Robert, and Harold Furr; and a grandson, Jerry Don "Donnie" Humphrey, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Don Humphrey, of Hollis; daughter and son-in-law, Iraan "Susie" and Aubrey Ballew of Hollis; brother and sister-in-law, William S. and Joyce Furr of Conway; grandson, Richard Cameron Humphrey, of Michigan.

Funeral services were held Monday, 2:00 p. m. at Grace Apostolic Church in Hot Springs. Burial was at the Nooner Cemetery with Pastor Richard Burgett officiating. Memorials may be sent to the Church Building Fund at Grace Apostolic Church, PO Box 3256, Hot Springs, AR 71914. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
