MIAMI LAKES, FLA. --- Shirley Lacy Campbell, 78, formerly of Everest, Kan., died Monday, July, 23, 2001, in Miami Lakes, Fla.
Mrs. Campbell volunteered at the Bascom-Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, Fla.
She was born June 20, 1923, at Everest, Kan., to William Wesley and Josephine Page Lacy. She graduated from Everest High School and Kansas State University in Manhattan.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Everest.
She married Robert Campbell in 1943. He died in June 1979.
Survivors include a sister, Donna Gechter, Muscotah, Kan.; and a brother, Loren W. Lacy, California.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Highland Cemetery, Junction City. Visitation will be from noon to service time at Johnson Funeral Home, Junction City.
