Dr. Oscar C. Plumb, pastor of the first Meethodist Church, Champaign, will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.
Dr. Alexander was a prominent dentist in Champaign since 1910. He retired from his practice only two years ago.
Born Aug 10, 1879 in Wheeling, W.VA, son of Clarence Marling and Margarretta Myers Alexander, he married Mary Lateer who died in 1927.
In 1931 he married Edna Phiester. She survives. Other survivors are a son, Howard Lateer Alexander, a daughter, Mrs. Robert W. Iber, Peoria; a brother, Earl M. Alexander, Piper City; two sisters, Bertha Alexander, Paxton' and Mrs. Harvey L. Cox, Champaign, and six grandchildren.
Dr. Alexander attended Greer College, Hoopeston, and taught school in Ford County six years. Later he graduated from Chicago Dental College and practiced dentistry in Paxton until he moved to Champaign.
Dr. Alexander was a member of the Champaign County Dental Society and the Illinois Archaeology Society.
