Jennie Steele Hadlock, 79, 1550 E. 1700 South, died of natural causes March 24, 1974, at home.
Born May 15, 1896, Fruitland, N.M., to Charles Milton and Harriet Virginia Roberts Steele. Married Ferry Leroy Hadlock, Jan. 28, 1920, Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died April 21, 1963.
Survivors: sons, daughters, Ferry C., Rigby, Idaho; Milo S., Mrs. Ralph (Hattie) Lee, Mrs. Douglas C. (LaRue) Woodbury, Mrs. Esther Adams, all Salt Lake City; Anthony H., Layton; Mrs. Robert (Jennie) Brown, Jakarta, Indonesia; 39 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Don, Robert, both Rangely, Colo.; John Alvin, Missouri; Eugene Forrest, Grand Junction, Colo.; Mrs. Earl (Daphne) Despain, Lovell, Wyo.; Mrs. Katherine Sawyer, Lafayette, Colo.; Mrs. William (Edith) Porter, St. George.
Funeral Thursday noon, Edgehill LDS Ward Chapel, 1750-15th East. Friends call 2350 E. 1300 South, Wednesday 6-8 p.m., at the chapel Thursday an hour prior to services. Burial in Redwood Memorial Estates.
