Hawkins and Malissa Ann Carr Holder had 11 children. The oldest daughter was on the 1840 census in Jackson County, Alabama but had left the home by the 1845 census in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. The family could not be found for the 1850 census and by the 1860 census, Malissa had passed away and Hawkins had married Elenora Elizabeth Hutton (2/21/1859). All of Hawkins children with Malissa are shown below except the oldest daughter who was on the 1840 census but not on the 1845 census. We don't know her name or if she married or died.
Hawkins and Elenora had 3 sons and 3 daughters. His son, Andrew Jackson Holder, divorced his wife Mollie in Dallas, Texas after the 1920 census. Andrew died in March 1941 in St Louis, MO. The three daughters, Cordelia, Charlotta, and Arminta, have not been located since the 1880 census in Tishomingo County, Mississippi.
