His funeral will be at 2pm Monday at Bruce Memorial Home, LeRoy, the Rev. Dean Benton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in LeRoy. Visitation will be from 2-5pm Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born November 10, 1896, in Empire Township, a son of Logan C. and Annie Wirt Fry. He married Charlotte Thompson June 19, 1919, at Phoenix, Arizona. She survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Arthur, Lake Forest; Earl, Lowell, Ind.; Kenneth, Normal; and Ronald, Boubonnais; a daughter, Mary Leona Whicher, Geneseo; three sisters, Lena Frickie, Joliet; Edith Gilmore, Gridley; and Grace Schlosser, LeRoy; 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. One son, three brothers, and a granddaughter preceded him in death.
He was a lifelong farmer in McLean County and worked for the McLean County Farm Bureau 18 years.
