Mrs. Maudie Alvey, 90, a resident of the High Point community, died at 1230am Thursday at the Parkview Convalescent Center. Mrs Alvey, a native of Union Co, KY was a member of High Point Pentecostal Church. She was the widow of Tom Alvey. Survivors include five sons, Thornton, William Mirrill, Theodore and Henry Alvey, all of Paducah; two daughters, Mrs Zelphyr Harris and Mrs Lucille Mae Burgess, both of Paducah; 37 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 130pm Sunday at Lindsey Funeral Home by the Rev Bill Wagner. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leon Alvey, Densel Alvey, Kenneth Alvey, Richard Alvey, R L Nimmo and Tommy burgess. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home
