Virginia Mays "Ginny" Hale, 75, of Manchester died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. Born July 24, 1934, in Baltimore County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Blanche Bollinger Mays. She was the wife of William "Buck" Hale, her husband of 55 years.

She had worked at the Uniform Factory, Black and Decker, and the Manchester Pharmacy.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Don Mays, of Parkton; grandsons and spouses William and Cynthia Stem, and Michael and Crystal Stem; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester.
