Montgomery was the son of Judge John Moore Currey (Find A Grave Memorial# 64776200) Eighth Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of California and Cornelia Elizabeth Scott (Find A Grave Memorial# 64776679). The family relationships are documented in the book Andrew Warde and his Descendants, 1597-1910" by George Kemp Ward. Montgomery is person #8242 and his father is #5318."
