BATH- Margaret L. Merrill, 74 of Clark's Trailer Court died Nov. 13,
1986 at Corning Hospital following an eight month illness.
Born May 6, 1912 in Galeton, Pa., she is the daughter of Lewis and Della.
Atwood Draper.
She resided in the Bath area since childhood. Her first husband, Warren
Longwell, died in 1944. Her second husband, George Merrill died in 1984.
Survivors include two sons, Frederick and Curtiss, both of Bath; six
daughters, Diena Buck of Hammondsport, Joyce Dewey of Bath, Erma
Longwell of Bunell Fla., Roberta Robertson of Collinsville Va., Edna
Buckley of Dundee, and Josephine Hall of Hammondsport; A sister Mabel
Staats, Florida; many grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services were
at the Bond-Davis Funeral home, Rev. Clair Stratham officiating. Burial
was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
