Mr. Lazaro Villalovos, 70, of La Junta died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 peacefully at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center-Nursing Center East in La Junta.

Lazaro was born in Walsenburg, CO on December 17, 1938, the son of the late Pedro and Laura (Archuletta) Villalovos. He was a farm laborer, and served in the U.S. Army during Non-War Time.

He is survived by: sister Mollie Griego of Pueblo, CO; sister Mary Baker wife of James of Pueblo, CO; sister Alberta Klement of Northglen, CO; sister Angelina Bachicha of Security, CO; sister Frances Games wife of John of Security, CO; brother Gilbert Villalovas husband of Norma of Walsenburg, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by four brothers: Jesus, David, Ernest & Gilbert.

Services are private at the convenience of family. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private at a later date in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
