Services for Nora Isabel Montgomery will be held Friday, January 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Welty Full Gospel Church with Rev. Harry Adams officiating.
Nora Isabel Montgomery was born March 13, 1922 to Mr. and Mrs. Mack Kasinger. She passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at her home in Welty at the age of 87.
Mrs. Montgomery grew up in Hulbert, Oklahoma and later moved to California. She later returned to Oklahoma and married Claude Lee Montgomery October 3, 1988 in Depew, Oklahoma. Mrs. Montgomery enjoyed gardening, flowers, and fishing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Eldon Beaver; two sons, Paul and Jim Beaver; one step son, Bruce Montgomery; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Claude of Welty, Oklahoma; one daughter, Elaine Hayes and husband Don of Welty; one stepson Cotton Montgomery and wife Phyllis of Grove, Oklahoma; three step-daughters, Patty Kreps of Bristow, Virginia McClain and husband Charles of Welty, and Sherry Elias and husband Phil of Bristow; two brothers, Ules and Norman Kasinger of California; two sisters, Loraine Powell and Darlene Burns of Tulsa; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
