Betty was born September 27, 1925 in
St Mary's Township, Hancock County,
Illinois the daughter of Frank Tomlin and
Alice Aleshire Alexander.
Elizabeth married Donald Junior Prunty
on August 4, 1945 in Atlanta Georgia;
he preceded her in death.
She attended Page School, Plymouth High
School and was a graduate of Western Illinois University, Macomb, Illinois; having earned a lifetime scholarship to any Illinois university.
Elizabeth owned and operated Mt Sterling Elevator & Prunty Fertilizer Service in Mt Sterling for over 30 years, retiring in 1995.
Prior to that she was a teacher in both
Union & St Mary's School in Hancock County.
A member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Mt Sterling, she was also a member of the Holy Family Women's Guild, Illinois Grain & Feed Association, American Association of Retired Persons, the Hancock County Historical Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Betty volunteered to deliver Meals on Wheels and always enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.

Danielle Neisen and husband Eric of Camp Point, Illinois
Two great grandchildren:
Mazie Elizabeth and Ava Kay Neisen of Camp Point, Illinois
One step granddaughter:
Michelle Cates and husband Steve of Cheyenne, Wyoming
Three step great grandchildren:
Chayne, Dayton and Ethan Cates of Cheyenne, Wyoming

Emma Frankie Dreyfus and Marjorie Alice Bradshaw
Visitation Wednesday June 29, 2005 from 3 until 8:00 pm at the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt Sterling, Illinois
Rosary Service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation.
Friends may also call from 8 until 9:30 am Thursday at the funeral home.
Services, a funeral mass will be held at 10 am Thursday, June 30, 2005 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Father Thomas Henseler officiating
Burial in the Mt Sterling Catholic Cemetery
