Mrs. Eliza Cowell, wife of Solomon Cowell, deceased, died Friday, October 5, 1897, aged 76 years. She was afflicted several months with Bright's disease. She leaves two brothers, James and John Michael, of W. Va., on sister, Darcus Yose, of W. Va., two daughters and one son to mourn their loss. She was of a kind and gently disposition and won the esteem of all who knew her. The children have the sympathy of a host of friends and relatives in this their sad bereavement.
