WELL KNOWN WOMAN

Mrs. W. H. Winterbotham Had Lived in Salina for 27 Years -- Apoplexy Stroke Fatal.

Mrs. Martha Eliza Winterbotham, wife of Dr. W. H. Winterbotham, died at her home at 702 West Ash street last night. Mrs. Winterbotham suffered a stroke of apoplexy on Saturday evening and has been unconscious since that time.

The Winterbotham family is well known in Salina, having made it's home here for the past 27 years. Mrs. Winterbotham was born in Richmond, Indiana about 68 years ago. Later she moved to Douglas, Florida, moving from there to Salina. Mrs. Winterbotham was a sister of Dr. W. S. Harvey and of Miss Edna Harvey, of this city.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Winterbotham leaves four children: Dr. J. H. Winterbotham and Miss Nellie Winterbotham of Salina; Mrs. Clyde Quincy of Hindsdale, Illinois; and George Winterbotham of Chicago. The funeral services will be held Thursday and the burial will be at Gypsum Hill cemetery. The hour of the funeral will be anounced later.
