Glyndol Asbury
BAIRD — Glyndol Asbury, 97, died Sunday in an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, in the Ross Cemetery with the Rev. Richard H. Wood officiating, directed by Parker Funeral Home of Baird.
Mrs. Asbury was born in Baird and was a lifetime resident. She was a retired dry goods clerk. She married James C. Asbury in Baird. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she played the organ until her retirement in 1994.
Survivors include two brothers, Horace E. Elliott of Baird and R.L. Elliott Jr. of Dalhart; and several nieces and nephews
