John Blancett of Crestline Is Taken By Death
Crestline, July 5 - John F. Blancett, a resident of Crestline for the past 25 years and a car repairman at the Pennsylvania yards, died Independence Day at 2 p.m. at Emergency hospital where he had undergone surgery a week ago. A native of New Straitsville, Ohio, Mr. Blancett was born February 29, 1884. He was the son of Jehu and Margaret Hamlon Blanceett and he was married at Cambridge to Flora McKim who survives.
Others surviving are the following children: Mrs. W.T. Perman, Mansfield; Mrs. W.K. Hatfield, Crestline and John, at home; 3 brothers, W.H. of Crestline; Charles of the veterans hospital at Brecksville and Leo Blancett of Marion; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ella Lake of Upper Sandusky and Miss Ester Blancett, and 4 grandchildren.
He was a member of the Presbyterian church here.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Robert F. Black Funeral home with Rev. R.L. Alderton officiating and burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.
