Charlotte M. "Charlie" Collum, 68, lost her battle with cancer on Dec. 14, 2009, at a hospital in Milton, Fla.

She was born in Klamath Falls, the daughter of Charles O. and Mae (Connelly) Barker. The family moved to Liberty District near Sweet Home in 1947, where she attended grade school and then Sweet Home High School.

She and her husband, Bill, moved to Milton when he retired from the Navy.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Bill; daughter Beth Ann; granddaughter Breanna; brother Jim Barker and wife Nadine of Lebanon; sister-in-law Kim Barker of Oviedo, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Charles C. Clayton Barker and Charles W. "Buck" Barker; and sister Dee Giel.

A funeral service was in December. Burial was at Barrancas National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name. She is at peace, God bless.
