On Feb. 14, 1715/6 at Windham, Conn., she m. as his first wife Dea. Nathaniel Wales, Esq., s. of Dea. Nathaniel Wales & Susanna Blake. He was b. on May 25, 1694 at Milton, Mass. and d. at Windham on Nov. 5, 1782, Æ 89. Following Mercy's death, Nathaniel m. 2) Prudence Denison at Windham on Dec. 17, 1726, by whom he had twelve children, of which nine died in infancy.

Eleazer Cary & Lydia Throop, b. at Bristol, Mass. (now R.I.) on Sept. 19, 1713 and d. at Windham on July 24, 1754, Æ 41. She m. 2) at Windham as his third wife on Jan. 19, 1758, Capt. James Lasell, s. of Thomas Lasell & Mary Allen, b. at Windham, Conn. on Jan. 23, 1703/4. The date of his death is not of record. She m. 3) at Windham on May 25, 1785 as his second wife, Jeremiah Welch, s. of Thomas Welch & Hannah Abbe, b. at Windham on Nov. 14, 1714 and died there on Sept. 17, 1790, Æ 76. Jerusha had eight children by her first husband and none by her other two husbands, but was step-mother to seventeen Lasell and Welch children.

iii. Susanna Wales, b. Feb. 5, 1723/4 and died in her youth on Mar. 13, 1737/8, Æ 15.
