Maurice Edison Farrell, youngest son of LeRoy and Carrie Farrell was born June 6, 1925, and departed this life at his home south of Lancaster after a two weeks illness of pneumonia, April 10, 1936 at the age of 10 years, 8 months and 5 days.
He was a member of the third grade in the Lancaster grade school.
He leaves to mourn his passing beside his father and mother, three sisters: Christine, Mrs. Emmina Morris, Mrs. Leonard Tade and one brother, Forrest Farrell of Bremerton, Wash., one grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Gosser and one grandfather, Web. M. Farrell, both of Lancaster, besides a host of relatives and friends.
Maurice will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a sweet and lovable child and a favorite with all his school mates.
Funeral services were held at the Lancaster Christian church Sunday, April 12, 1936, at 3:35 o’clock with Robert Seath, pastor officiating. Interment was in the Lancaster cemetery.
