On August 18, 1937, he was united in marriage to Lillian Mae Dahlke at Topeka, KS. The couple established their home on a farm near Nelson, NE and then moved to a farm near Stella, NE. Bud was a member of the Grace Bible Fellowship Church at Stella, NE. Bud was faithful his church (sic). He was loving and enjoyed his family. He quietly went to HIS FATHER'S HOUSE on Friday, January 17, 2003, having reached the age of eighty-eight years, seven months and five days.
He is survived by two daughters, Nona Jo and her husband Roger L. Zink of Indianola, NE Zoe Ella and her husband Larry A. Degel of Frost, TX a son, Tom Jacobitz and his wife Vicki of Stella, NE. six grandchildren, Tyler, Tracy, Nancy, Tate, Darcy and Jed; six great grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, McKenzie, Morgan, Colton, and Marin; three sisters, Louise Nelson of Stella, NE Shirley Lyons of Phoenix, AZ and Betty Adamson and her husband Earl of Nelson, NE. His parents, his wife, Lillian; a son, Max, and a sister, Helen, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at the Grace Bible Fellowship Church at Stella, NE. Burial was in the Stella Cemetery.
