Little Alice Albonesi died at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Seth S. Pelton on Sunday of meningitis, following several days of suffering. She was born at Dumont on Jan. 23, 1917 and came here with her mother just before the holidays to visit their friends. The mother was taken ill and died Jan. 4th and little Alice two weeks ago was taken with the measles, which developed complications. The sadly stricken father, Charles Albonesi and children, Ruth, Evelyn and Tom survive. She was buried on Tuesday in the family plot in St. John's Cemetery.

Little Alice Albonesi, youngest daughter of the late Mrs Charles Albonesi, who died suddenly a few weeks ago of pneumonia, passed away at the home of her grandmother, Mrs Seth Pelton, on Feb 26, of meningitis, at the age of five years, after an illness of two weeks. She is survived by her father, two sisters, Ruth and Evelyn, and brother Tom.
The funeral was on Thursday from the home, and she was buried in the family plot on St. John Street.
