Margarette Elizabeth Willims was the daughter of Thomas raven Williams Mary Caroline Ramsey. She married Posey Washington Stanfield on 18 Jan 1886. They had fourteen children; Eula Lee Stanfield-Cooper, Mary Ellen Stanfield-Williams, Carrie E. Stanfield-Mize, Savannah Augusta Stanfield-Burns, Bural Washington Stanfield, Emory Benton Stanfield, Ollie Gertrude Stanfield-Wall, William McKinley Stanfield, Susie Belle Stanfield-Carteee, Katherine "Katie" Dee Stanfield-Hilburn, and infnat child, Albert Stanfield, Alice Nida Stanfield-Meers, Albert Stanfield, and Thomas Richard Harold Stanfield.
