"Mrs. J. F. Perry, whose death was announced last week, was born Oct. 28, 1853, at Sashabaw Plains, and her maiden name was Florence Mann. She was married to Dr. Perry May 4, 1871, and the result of the union was four daughters. Five years ago Mrs. Perry was taken sick with a hereditary lung trouble, and although receiving the best of care and medical attention the disease could not be stayed. The deceased was a consistent member of the congregational church, a kind wife and mother and although suffering great pain for many weary months, was cheerful, made no complaint and never lost faith in her Master. Funeral services were largely attended from the house last Wednesday. Rev. W. R. Seaver preached a touching sermon, and the remains were interred at Oak Hill Cemetery."
