Samuel's wife, Judith Smith, had died on March 23, 1824 in Stratford.

Samuel died on Feb 27, 1837 in Stratford.
No marriage record found for Caroline to Alexander Brown, but they married after the 1840 census, when Alexander was listed with 3 young children and no wife. His 1st wife, Esther Curtis, had died before between 1830 & 1840 but her death date on the headstone is buried so we can't see it.

Alexander & Caroline appear to have moved from this NH area after the 1850 census.

Alexander and Samuel were brothers.
